neonutilities documentation
===========================

The neonutilities Python package provides utilities for discovering, downloading, 
and working with data files published by the `National Ecological Observatory 
Network (NEON) <https://www.neonscience.org/>`_. neonutilities provides functions 
for downloading all types of NEON data (tabular, hierarchical, image) and for 
joining tabular data files across dates and sites.

To explore NEON data available for download and read data product documentation, 
use the `Explore Data Products <https://data.neonscience.org/data-products/explore>`_ 
page on the NEON Data Portal. For information about other resources available for 
working with NEON data, see the `Getting Started with NEON Data and Resources
